“NO SINGLE ORGANIZATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MAJOR SOCIAL PROBLEM, NOR CAN ANY SINGLE ORGANIZATION CURE IT. LARGE-SCALE SOCIAL CHANGE REQUIRES BROAD CROSS-SECTOR COORDINATION”

— JOHN KANIA, STANFORD SOCIAL INNOVATION REVIEW

Solving the big problems in our world will depend on organizations working in collaboration with, not in isolation from, one another. Intentional collaboration allows us to participate in more significant initiatives with far greater impact.

TBC gathers Bay Area Christian leaders across various domains - technology, business, non-profit, innovation, and church - to collectively build models for holistic and systemic change. to date, we’ve partnered with bay area organizations around foster care, homelessness, and church school partnerships.

Foster Care

Twenty-nine scriptures in the Bible direct us to the care of children and the orphan. Foster care is an important facet of our Christian Faith and allows to offer God’s unconditional love to a child in need.

Homelessness

Homelessness is by far one of the most visible disparities we see on our city streets. Jesus calls each one of us to open our hearts and hands to the most vulnerable people among our cities.

Education gap

The Bay Area continues to trail the state in test scores for low-income Latino and African American students. There is a large poverty gap between districts and the students they serve in the Bay Area.
