a collaborative, holistic approach

Homelessness is by far one of the most visible disparities we see on our city streets. While we know Christ has called us to serve the homeless, we are often confused by the how.

The homeless population needs a wide variety of services stemming from basic needs to long-term housing solutions. We must turn to a holistic, systemic solution made up of collaboration across domains. In Santa Cruz, a group of faith leaders, city and county officials, and non-profit leaders gathered to build a collaborative, systemic solution around homelessness. Each member of the cohort brings a different set of skills, expertise, knowledge, and perspective. Collectively, these individuals have contributed to a roadmap of how the faith community can engage in united transformative solutions.
