Bay Area Churches and Non-Profit Organizations collaborating towards holistic change.

a collaborative, holistic approach

The Bay Area continues to trail the state in test scores for low-income Latino and African American students. There is a large poverty gap between districts and the students they serve in the Bay Area. High Quality Instruction, Poverty Mitigation, and Alleviation is needed.

The homeless population needs a wide variety of services stemming from basic needs to long-term housing solution. We must turn to a holistic, systemic solution made up of collaboration across domains. In Santa Cruz, a group of faith leaders, city and county officials, and non-profit leaders gathered to build a collaborative, systemic solution around homelessness. Each member of the cohort brings a different set of skills, expertise, knowledge, and perspective. Collectively, these individuals have contributed to a roadmap of how the faith community can engage in united transformative solutions.
