UNIFY brings church and business leaders of faith together in catalytic networks to build relationships, encourage each other, and collaborate for greater impact within the larger community. More than twenty regional networks of senior pastors are active throughout the Bay Area with a growing number of affinity networks for ministry leaders being created.
Together we’re powerful
“When we value Christ’s church over the individual church and work together in the power of the Holy Spirit, we become the most powerful change agent in the world and the driver of any eternally significant transformation. Uniting the church can transform the Bay Area in the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s the answer to Jesus’s prayer in John 17:21:
“…that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
Answering Jesus’s audacious prayer
Jesus prayed an audacious prayer, but what if we are the generation that sees its answer in our lifetime? What could that mean for the Bay Area?
In the past twenty years the percentage of followers of Christ has not increased here, but God is raising up pastors and marketplace leaders who have a heart for the Kingdom to expand here. UNIFY is creating spaces for these individuals to come together. When they can cross denominational lines in humility, it’s amazing what takes place.
Our strategy is to raise up network leaders we encourage and equip to come alongside local pastors. Together they support each other. Right now there are two hundred churches affiliated with TBC. That’s a great foundation we want to strengthen and grow.

Impact comes through cross collaboration and camaraderie
Within TBC, UNIFY is the backbone. That doesn’t mean it’s more important than AMPLIFY and MULTIPLY, but those initiatives are built out of UNIFY. They create an effective ecosystem. As MULTIPLY plants churches, UNIFY makes sure they are fed and nurtured. We leverage the good works created by AMPLIFY and shoot them through the networks as models for action. It’s about humbly coming together to join Jesus in fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
